ECFOLI is an innovative Media and Information Literacy (MIL) project aiming at fostering sustainable conflict resolution strategies through the study and ownership of the common Mediterranean culture. This project is involving 5 different countries: Portugal, Palestine, Cyprus, Morocco and France.
The ECFOLI project will enable cross curriculum communication that promotes Peace by implementing MIL through the lens of cultural heritage. Participants will have the opportunity to interact and create different media products illustrating and bringing alive their common culture building therefore helping create long-lasting friendships and true dialogue between communities. This project promotes strategies for conflict resolution, intercultural dialogue, and respect of human rights.
Giving tools to the participating youth to be active citizens in support of their local environment and society at large, ECFOLI will achieve these objectives through this e-learning platform, combined with the blended and experiential learning of participants, both trainers and youth.
This platform enables communication and collaboration – through forums and chat functionalities – between the project consortium and the users of the platform, as well as providing a collaborative work space
